Map Panels

I've been engraving the shield shaped panels that I was making in January as well, with segments of maps. Here's Edinburgh, Amsterdam and Toronto:

They will have holes drilled in them, and be slumped, and crocheted together, because I'm feeling a need to integrate my mixed media joy into my actual work.

Also, I tried laser engraving some bullseye to rub paint into and do another of the engraved panels (well, really to replace the float glass one that I was working on... grr green glass) but the bullseye, even the flat side is not really flat enough to get the paint to stay in the laser cut lines but not the natural grooves in the glass, so I've got a bunch of bullseye in the kiln to flatten it out and try again.
