So the most recent thing that I'm excited about is layering painting with cameo engraving. I've just got some test pieces right now, but they're exciting to me.

So, these are sheets of float glass and with Optul (float glass compatible colour) powder as the top layer. The bottom circle has been painted with a simple pattern, and layered with another similar circle, and Optul sifted over the top. Fired to a full fuse, and then with the top layer cut through. I'm really excited about the possibilities for this layering of techniques.
