I've made a prototype camera obscura... It's a found steel bowl, a lens and an engraved glass panel. I like engraving french vanilla, the colour shifts it goes through are kind of interesting. I've also got a "film" for it that is a clear textured panel. I like how the engraving distorts the projected image. We've got new diamond wheels in the studio, which are awesome, so the engraving is just me playing with the new wheels, not any specific image. I've also got some tiny little bowls, and it would be neat to find lenses that work to make them cameras too, I've tried just a pinhole, but it doesn't bring very much light into them, so it's not a very strong effect, but I'll play a little more.
