Design Hope Donation





This is a firing of five hand pressings, using the lost wax method. The molds were made on Friday February 19th, and were 60% Silica, 40% Plaster.

They were fired in Kiln #2 at 23:10 on the following program:

1. 1:00 - 100 degrees
2. 12:00 @ 100
3. 13:00 - 150
4. 18:00 - 600
5. 18:01 - 855
6. 25:00 @ 855
7. 25:01 - 515
8. 32:00 @ 515
9. 47:00 - 375
10. 57:00 - 50

The vent was pulled @ 779 degrees, step 5, 10:45pm Feb 20 (sat). As it was coming down, it was vented 1/2" at 63 degrees. The kiln was opened @ 31 degrees on Wednesday, February 24th at 12:25.
