Apples re-fire, Birds

To re-fire the apple molds which didn't fill in the previous firing, I cut the flower pots off the left over glass in them, and drilled the holes in new ones larger so the glass would hopefully flow better. the new flower pots were filled with the leftover glass from the previous firing.

Other people in the kiln were Victor, Tom, Warren and Cailey.

Also, there were three more bird molds, which were each filled with 170g casting furnace frit.

It was fired on April 20th, on the following schedule:

1. 1:00 - 100
2. 14:00 - 125
3. 20:00 - 600
4. 22:00 @ 600
5. 22:01 - 875
6. 27:00 @ 875
7: 27:01 - 520
8. 42:00 @ 520
9. 57:00 - 390
10. 62:00 - 50

There was leftover wax in Tom's mold which caught fire, we kept the vent in the kiln until it stopped smoldering.

the Kiln came down on April ----.
